Ranelagh Primary School opened in 1907. It is situated in a beautiful Edwardian Building combining historical features with many new developments. The facilities include a large hall, award-winning library, ICT suite and music room. Every classroom has an interactive whiteboard. Outside, pupils play with a large variety of equipment in the playground. There is also an adventure play area, drama/dance stage, and synthetic multi-purpose sports pitch. Pupils work regularly on the nearby allotment and in the summer months, have access to a nature area. children in Early Years benefit from a purpose built garden, including summer house, raised vegetable bed and environmental area. A double canopy allows outdoor play throughout the year.
